Minister-Power became an official Energy Efficient Motorsport Partner (EEMS) in 2007, and we have been researching Environmentally Responsible and sustainable fuels for a cleaner motorsport for many years.
In 2007 Minister-Power tuned an entire grid of Caterham Roadsport cars powered by MG/Rover K Series engines.
The cars covered thousands of trouble free miles in testing, qualifying and races using the Bio Fuel known as E85, which is a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% petrol.
The Championship was the first UK Race Series where the entire grid ran on Bio Fuel.
Minister-Power are committed to bring their experience of using Bio Fuel to National and Club motorsport, and continue to develop popular engines to run on bio fuel including the Ford Duratec 35 V6 engine, the Ford Duratec I4 engine and the MG/Rover K Series engine.
