Minister-Power are working in conjunction with Ginetta Cars to create the Ginetta G50 race car. From the first discussions about suitable engines, to the car racing and achieving podium positions in FIA GT4 races has taken only five months.

Early expectations of power output were exceeded to achieve 300 BHP (304 PS) and 280 lbs. ft. (380 Nm) torque which the 2008 Cup cars will achieve.

The all new Championship known as the Ginetta G50 Sportscar Championship will run on the same calendar as the prestigious BGT/F3 package.

Furthermore, the G50 will be competing in GT races in the newly introduced GT4 category.
